Newsweek Nazi Hypocrisy Exposed: Juxtaposed Articles Highlight Nazi Glorification and Obfuscation Conducted by ‘News’ Propaganda Outlet

On January 5, 2018 US media outlet Newsweek published the following article.

The above Newsweek article covers various aspects of the American far-right and the subject person within that may or may not be true, judging from the way the information is presented. It is not my goal to analyze the accuracy of the above mentioned Newsweek article with this post.

Instead, the purpose of this post is to simply point out the blatant hypocrisy conducted on the part of Newsweek as, during the publication of the above-mentioned article, they have neglected to inform their current readership about the fact that on August 15, 2015 Newsweek ran a lengthy article that glorified Swedish Nazis sniper Mikel Skillt of the pro Nazi far-right Azov Battalion of the Ukrainian National Guard.

PUTIN’S WAR: A SWEDISH SNIPER IN UKRAINE

A simple read through the Newsweek article linked directly above reveals that it glorifies the actions of self confessed Swedish neo-nazi Mikael Skillt as he conducts warfare against the men and women fighting for their lives against the Ukrainian regime in Donbass in the breakaway regions of Ukraine. The Newsweek article does this under the false premise that Mikael Skillt is righteous in his actions because he is fighting a {quote} “Russian invasion”.

It is now the year 2018, the so called “Russian invasion” that western media outlets and governments predicted and portrayed never came. There always were approximately 8 million ethnic Russians living in East Ukraine with over 4 million ethnic Russians in the breakaway regions. In actuality, over 1.8 million refugees fled TO RUSSIA. There is no verifiable evidence to back up the assertions made by the post coup Ukrainian government that a ‘Russian invasion” ever occurred.

In contrast, there is extensive first person victim evidence uploaded online that shows clearly that the Ukrainian Right Sector National Guard battalions (funded by western governments) have been bombing and killing innocent civilians in their homes in the breakaway regions of East Ukraine for the past three years. This continual shelling is occurring on a daily basis and is being downplayed, misreported and obfuscated by the OSCE in Donetsk, and western media outlets. At the conclusion of this post I will provide links to the daily video reports of Patrick Lancaster who is the only American reporter actually reporting on the ground in the breakaway regions of Donetsk and Lughansk.

Regarding the presentation of the Newsweek Skillt article, it is written in a manner that portrays the killer Mikael Skillt as a hero amongst the Ukrainian Right Sector Azov battalion units. It uses phrases such as “He has an easygoing demeanor and matter-of-fact way of speaking. He is quick to make a self-deprecating joke” and “He looks a little softer now than in some of the pictures of him on the front lines, the result of the more sedentary life of an instructor at Azov Battalion’s base in downtown Kiev—and, he says, of the cooking of his girlfriend, Anna. “Ukrainian women don’t like skinny men,” he explains.”

Note the way Newsweek attempts to portray him as a nice, normal guy with endearing human qualities? His “girlfriend is cooking”…….he “makes light self deprecating jokes”…..he “looks softer”. These are obvious propagandist forms of writing and portrayal.

Other obvious bits of propaganda attempting to make Skillt seem more likeable include “He throws a few lighthearted jabs making fun of Spider’s dating habits”……..“Ukraine gave me purpose,” Skillt says, “and I think a man needs a purpose”……..”Skillt had survived his first battle, killed for the first time. “Ten hours of fighting and not a scratch,” he says: “Now I knew I could react. I could survive and I could work good. It was a big boost to know I was not useless.”…..“He has always been a very confident man in his nature, almost to the grade that one might think that he believes he can fight the gods himself,” Nilsson says: “This is where I find the change in him during this war to be the greatest. He still has his confidence, but he is more humble”……….”Skillt: war made me into a much better person.”

All the above phrases are scattered throughout the Newsweek article, and juxtaposed with little bits of truth related to the fact that Mikael Skillt is a self professed neo-nazi and that the Ukrainian National Guard Azov Battalion is also comprised of neo-nazis who openly worship WW2 Nazi collaborator Stephan Bandera. The Ukrainian Insurgent Army troops led by Stephan Bandera in WW2 were responsible for the killing of over 100,000 Poles and Jews in the regions of Volhnya and Galicia.

Regarding the Azov battalion and its financiers, in the article Newsweek attempts to deflect from the fact that Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Igor Kolomoisky finances the far right pro Nazi Azov battalion, however Yahoo and Agence Presse France disclosed that very fact in an article in 2015.

All the signs are of a flourishing military enterprise. Young men with Kalashnikovs and pistols and several well dressed women working on laptops fill the anteroom to Bereza’s office.

Dnipro-1 has 700 men — “officially,” Bereza says with an enigmatic smile. “Unofficially, it’s 7,000.”

Questions over the far right leanings of some volunteer groups and allegations of involvement in the murder of civilians cast a long shadow. One of the most controversial is the Azov Battalion, which uses the Wolfsangel insignia — an ancient design that was resurrected in Hitler’s Germany. The Azov has been linked to Oleg Lyashko, a politician accused of neo-Nazi sympathies. Right Sector, an ultra-nationalist party, also has its own battalion of several hundred men on the frontlines, even if the government refuses to register or pay them. Dasha Slutskovska, a 29-year-old volunteer from the battalion in Dnipropetrovsk, conceded that Right Sector has an image problem — they are relentlessly portrayed in Russia’s state-controlled media as fascists.

Called a “neo-Nazi paramilitary militia” by Congressmen John Conyers Jr. and Ted Yoho, who cosponsored the bipartisan amendment, the battalion has been a source of controversy since its inception.

With the neo-Nazi Wolfsangel symbol on its unit flash – which resembles a black swastika on a yellow background – and founders drawn from the ranks of the paramilitary national socialist group called “Patriot of Ukraine,” the group would have been a fringe phenomenon in any Western nation, but with its army unequipped to face the separatist threat in the east, Kiev actually integrated Azov into its military forces.

According to a report in The Nation, the Pentagon lobbied the House Defense Appropriations Committee to remove the Conyers-Yoho amendment from the 2016 defense budget, claiming it was unnecessary as such funding was already prohibited under another law.

A 30-year-old civilian woman died after being shot in the head by sniper fire while standing on her balcony in Slavyansk. RT’s Paula Slier visited shocked relatives of the victim, who say a Ukrainian army sniper is responsible, though they don’t know why. Slier arrived to the small Slavyansk apartment just hours after Irina was murdered, a large pool of blood still marking the floor of the balcony. A hospital nurse earlier confirmed that the woman died of a gunshot wound to her head.

The apartment, located on the sixth floor of a small block of flats, appeared to be away from the recent fighting in Slavyansk, and no barricades or checkpoints could be seen anywhere near the area.

Irina, who was head of a department at a technical college in Slavyansk, never took part in any protests or fighting. However, when standing on her balcony and waiting for her husband to come home from a nearby garage, the woman was targeted by an unidentified sniper. Neighbors said they heard a popping sound coming from the trees opposite her window.

Slier spoke to the family of the victim, still in shock and disbelief at what happened.

Now, considering that Newsweek appears to currently want to expose Nazis wouldn’t it be better if they started looking within seeing how their article glorified and promoted Mikael Skillt as just “your everyday Nazi sniper” operating in Ukraine fighting a fake “Russian invasion” that never came? Maybe they should come clean about what they presented Nazi Mikael Skillt as a hero rather than the murderous nazi that he actually is?

Oh and in case your wondering what happened to Mikael Skillt, he’s still up and running on Twitter. When it comes to the current censorship agenda, apparently Twitter feels he deserves a free pass – Featured in his Tweet below is Ukrainian National Guard battalion commander and politician Oleg Lyashko that Skillt promotes holding a sniper rifle. Oleg Lyashko is also featured amongst the twenty videos showing the fascist battalions in Ukraine linked above using torture to attain confessions alongside other members of the Azov Battalion.

Note also that the Azov Battalion Nazis also still have their You Tube channels up and running (as proven above) and have not been censored in any way, shape or form in any western country, including in Germany where new hate crime laws have been enacted targeted at people who criticize people of Jewish descent and immigrants. The Azov Nazis apparently receive a completely free pass from all western governments.

Google and You Tube Censorship Exposed: Terrorists Get Free Pass While Alternative Media is Demonetized / Buried by Algorithmic Search Engine

This post features three primary parts. Firstly, in this post I will lay out the new Google censorship guidelines utilizing the Ars Technica article that introduced the guidelines to the public in early summer 2017. Secondly, I will provide videos from a number of western political channels where the channel personality explains how censorship and demonetization is affecting their viewcounts, income and ability to be seen and heard expressing their political viewpoints. Thirdly, at the conclusion of this post I will demonstrate that terrorist channels and real pro-Nazi You Tube channels around the world are being given a completely free pass to expose their propaganda by You Tube (Google) as of August 4th, 2017 (date of this post).

In a blog post yesterday, Google laid out four new steps it will take to work against extremist videos on YouTube, and most of those steps expand on current systems the company has in place to identify, flag, demonetize, and essentially hide hate-filled videos.

The most nebulous of the four measures is the third listed in the blog post, which states that Google and YouTube will take a “tougher stance” on videos that don’t clearly violate YouTube’s policies. The blog post describes these videos as containing “inflammatory religious or supremacist content”; those videos may not fall under YouTube’s definition of hate speech, but they’ll now be targeted in a similar way.

Featured below are a number of channels of various political stylings that Google has begun censoring and demonetizing under the new censorship guidelines. Each channel personality explains in each video how the Google censorship guidelines are personally affecting them and how the censorship will effect the public as a whole. Google will increase the amount of technology used to identify extremist videos, meaning the company will expand the sophistication of its machine learning technology that can tell the difference between extremist content and non-extremist content.

This is particularly important for any YouTube channel that discusses news and current events, because until now, those channels have been heavily demonetized because they talk about sensitive, violent, and extremist events while reporting the news. The blog post states that the company will now use “advanced machine learning research to train new ‘content classifiers’ to help us more quickly identify and remove extremist and terrorism-related content.”

Google will also increase YouTube Trusted Flagger networking, which is a group of companies and individuals that have the power to flag videos with offensive content. Google will add 50 expert NGOs to the existing 63 organizations in the program and support them with additional grants. Lumped into the Trusted Flagger program is the YouTube Heroes program, which initially raised the eyebrows of many creators as it let any YouTube user apply to be someone who flags offensive content on the platform. Some creators have expressed concern that user biases could cause some of their videos to be unnecessarily flagged or demonetized. However, creators can initiate a review process for any demonetized video if they think it doesn’t contain offensive material or content that violates YouTube policies.

The final measure from Google is an expansion of its counter-radicalization efforts on YouTube. This is arguably the most active and purposeful new step out of the four, as it expands on the “redirect method” originally developed by Google Ideas, a think tank now known as Jigsaw. Born last year, the “redirect method” essentially uses targeted advertising to guide potential ISIS recruits away from radicalization videos. Ads are placed next to search results for keywords and phrases that have been deemed ISIS-related, and when clicked, those ads bring the user to YouTube channels consisting of videos debunking ISIS teachings. The theory is that potential ISIS recruits will be dissuaded from learning about or joining the terrorist organization after watching those videos.

The “redirect method” is a new initiative that’s barely one year old, but Google believes it has had a positive effect. While Google can’t quantify how many potential ISIS recruits have abandoned their terrorism-related research, the company does claim “potential recruits have clicked through on the ads at an unusually high rate, and watched over half a million minutes of video content.”

Internet companies are under immense pressure to do something about hate speech on their platforms. Facebook is taking a similar approach to Google, pledging to use AI and more human moderators to eliminate extremist content on its website, while Twitter unabashedly suspends accounts that promote terrorism. Google’s new measures are undoubtedly another response to the ad exodus that occurred earlier this year, in which many companies pulled advertising from YouTube after ads were found running over hate-filled videos. Until now, YouTube has focused on giving advertisers more tools to control where their ads appear and more clearly defining what “extremist” and “offensive” content means for their creators. But there is no longer any ambiguity on what Google and YouTube will be doing going forward—they will not only come down hard on offensive content, but they will also do more to ensure extremist content can’t be easily found on YouTube.

Google sponsors the First Draft Coalition, which was created to counter alleged “fake news” and consists of mainstream news outlets, including the Times and The Washington Post, as well as establishment-approved Web sites, such as Bellingcat, which has a close association with the anti-Russia and pro-NATO Atlantic Council. This creation of a modern-day Ministry of Truth occurred under the cover of a mainstream-driven hysteria about “fake news” and “Russian propaganda” in the wake of Donald Trump’s election.

Last Thanksgiving Day, the Post ran a front-page article citing accusations from an anonymous Web site, PropOrNot, that identified 200 Web sites — including such Internet stalwarts as Truthdig, Counterpunch and Consortiumnews — as purveyors of “Russian propaganda.” Apparently, PropOrNot’s standard was to smear any news outlet that questioned the State Department’s Official Narrative on the Ukraine crisis or some other global hot spot, but the Post didn’t offer any actual specifics of what these Web sites had done to earn their place on a McCarthyistic blacklist.

An Orwellian Future

In early May 2017, the Times chimed in with a laudatory article about how sophisticated algorithms could purge the Internet of alleged “fake news” or what the mainstream media deems to be “misinformation.” Big Brother poster illustrating George Orwell’s novel about modern propaganda, 1984. As I wrote at the time, “you don’t need a huge amount of imagination to see how this combination of mainstream groupthink and artificial intelligence could create an Orwellian future in which only one side of a story gets told and the other side simply disappears from view.”

In the three months since Internet monopoly Google announced plans to keep users from accessing “fake news,” the global traffic rankings of a broad range of left-wing, progressive, anti-war and democratic rights organizations have fallen significantly. On April 25, 2017, Google announced that it had implemented changes to its search service to make it harder for users to access what it called “low-quality” information such as “conspiracy theories” and “fake news.” The company said in a blog post that the central purpose of the change to its search algorithm was to give the search giant greater control in identifying content deemed objectionable by its guidelines. Google declared that it had “improved our evaluation methods and made algorithmic updates” in order “to surface more authoritative content.”

Google continued, “Last month, we updated our Search Quality Rater Guidelines to provide more detailed examples of low-quality webpages for raters to appropriately flag.” These moderators are instructed to flag “upsetting user experiences,” including pages that present “conspiracy theories,” unless “the query clearly indicates the user is seeking an alternative viewpoint.” The World Socialist Web Site has been targeted by Google’s new “evaluation methods.” While in April 2017, 422,460 visits to the WSWS originated from Google searches, the figure has dropped to an estimated 120,000 this month, a fall of more than 70 percent. Even when using search terms such as “socialist” and “socialism,” readers have informed us that they find it increasingly difficult to locate the World Socialist Web Site in Google searches.

According to Google’s webmaster tools service, the number of searches resulting in users seeing content from the World Socialist Web Site (that is, a WSWS article appeared in a Google search) fell from 467,890 a day to 138,275 over the past three months. The average position of articles in searches, meanwhile, fell from 15.9 to 37.2 over the same period. David North, chairperson of the International Editorial Board of the WSWS, stated that Google is engaged in political censorship. “The World Socialist Web Site has been in existence for nearly 20 years,” he said, “and it has developed a large international audience. Regarding the passage of flight MH-17 in Ukraine – although it wasn’t reported in the western English-speaking media, expert aviation witnesses who spoke to the Dutch Safety Board stated on record that Ukraines statement that it had all 3 of its primary radar stations offline at the time of the MH-17 crash (as stated by Kiev authorities) was not believable. However, the Dutch Safety Board has proceeded with its desired, pre-determined ‘investigative’ result just the same. A number of questions are still to be answered, along with questions about the ‘investigation’ itself. Why did the DSB not mention the complete lack of primary radar availablity in Eastern Ukraine airspace in the final report? Despite the fact that the Ukraine air traffic controller did not have primary radar available, airspace was not closed on July 17, 2014. Without primary radar, an air traffic controller cannot see military aircraft on his radar screen. Thus, if a civil aircraft needed to descend and ATC does not have a clue about the position of military aircraft in the national airspace there could have quite easily been a crash. Normally airspace would be closed, especially over a war-zone, if there was no radar working for air traffic control.

3. Ukraine did not mention in NOTAMS about the loss of GPS signals over Eastern Ukraine. Malaysia Airlines informed the crew of MH17 about the loss of GPS in this message. The message was taken from Appendix A-U of the DSB final report. DSB wrote in the final report :

Having access to all the above information, and knowing what is known now, international investigators should be asking “who had the means, motive, opportunity, and benefitted most from the shootdown of flight MH-17 over Ukrainian airspace?” and “why were flights allowed over Ukraine when Kiev’s authorities now state on record that they had no operational radar?” If that is truly the case, then “how did they track and allow for European air traffic in the air corridors over Ukraine on July 17, 2014?” and most importantly…….”why has the Dutch Safety Board allowed Ukraine a free pass and even collaboration with their ’investigation’? Specifically, “which Dutch authorities are responsible for the statement that they did not need Ukrainian radar images, and then later requested radar images from Russia?”, “Who is responsible for this double standard that allows the Kiev authorities a free pass regarding the missing radar data?”

Watchdog Media’s new video series brings into focus the true nature of the Kiev regime and its fascist battalions that took power in Ukraine on February 20th, 2014, and thus, also reveals that they were quite capable of killing innocent civilians and falsely portraying events in order to fit their barbaric Ukrainian takeover agenda. Questions over the far right leanings of some volunteer groups and allegations of involvement in the murder of civilians cast a long shadow.

“Nationalists does not mean Nazis. We’re just normal people,” she said, adding with a laugh: “Well, maybe a bit more radical.”

The following Independent UK article from May 2014 highlights the takeover of Mariupol by Kiev’s fascist battalions and Ukrainian oligarch Arsen Avakov who also finances the Right Sector in Mariupol. Note that civilians who refused to comply with the new fascist government, and instead sought independence, were constantly referred to as “terrorists” by the new Kiev regimes fascist military commanders.

In the course of the next confusing hour the armband disappears, snatched off by a collaborator, according to some. There are mutters that it was a Ukrainian journalist, although we have not seen any present at the scene. Such charges often lead to an outbreak of hostility towards the media. But here the crowd, though angry, is keen to put over its side. The people stand under raindrops blackened by ash pleading that two things must be made clear to the outside world; they do not have guns and they are Ukrainians, not Russians. They produce their driving licences and passports. To Arsen Avakov, many of these people are terrorists. Ukraine’s acting Interior Minister has been a voracious user of Facebook to chronicle military operations, some of the accounts wildly inaccurate. He wrote: “A terrorist group of about 60 men armed with automatic weapons attacked the police headquarters. About 20 terrorists were destroyed and four taken prisoner. To those who come with weapons and who shoot… To them there can be only one answer from the Ukrainian state – annihilation.”

Mr Avakov also stresses the involvement of several branches of security in the mission, including special forces, National Guard and the army. This is seen as an attempt to assuage criticism in Kiev and western Ukraine of the “anti-terrorist offensive”. But Mariupol has also become the arena for a number of shadowy bunches of gunmen. Two days ago, a unit in black combat uniform carried out unprovoked assaults on protesters outside another police station. There have been contradictory accounts about who they were from Kiev authorities – National Guard, special forces, Ministry of Interior police. One theory is that they were mercenaries bankrolled by Igor Kolomoisky, an oligarch and Ukrainian nationalist, who had previously offered a bounty for the capture of Russian “agents”.

The BBC’s Ukraine Anomalies – Maidan’s Hotel Ukraine Snipers and the Confusing Reporting of Gabriel Gatehouse

The massacre at Kiev’s Maidan was a major turning point in the Ukrainian crisis in which the BBC played a key role on reporting of events. This post will examine the BBC video reports of reporter Gabriel Gatehouse as he covered the Maidan sniper massacre and it will demonstrate that the videos his team filmed clearly show that Gatehouse’s own on camera acceptance of an undercover British forensic investigative team version of events fails to match his own personal experience of being shot at by a sniper in the Hotel Ukraine, a sniper, who incidentally, was not included in the ‘official’ investigation final report conducted by the post coup Kiev based government of Ukraine.

At the time of the Maidan Massacre on February 20, 2014, the Hotel Ukraine was occupied and controlled by opposition forces including the Right Sector neo-nazi groups led by Andriy Parubiy that were the frontline foot soldiers being used as a battering ram against the Yankovich led government.

In the following video filmed on February 20th, 2014, we see Gabriel Gatehouse and his BBC team clearly shot at from the Hotel Ukraine at the 2:35 mark. The BBC report verifies snipers were in the Hotel Ukraine behind protesters. Gatehouse even goes so far as to identify the room the shooters are located in, stating ” from one of the upper windows of the hotel a shot rang out…….up there, yes….our hotel…..upper window 5th row from the left…2nd from the top….the one that is open”. He then states ” I saw the shooter, he was wearing one of the protester’s green helmets”.

In this 2nd video at the 3:50 mark we see Gabriel Gatehouse in the unedited version of the same video cursing about the rifle shot which just barely misses him. Before being shot at he states clearly “What is that, that window facing directly to us……fuck….let’s get the fuck out of here!”

Now here is where things get interesting. In the following BBC video, filmed 4 days later, and featuring the very same Gabriel Gatehouse, he accepts the version of events of a team of anonymous undercover British forensic experts who neglect to include the sniper that shot at him and his BBC crew from the Hotel Ukraine. He makes no mention of this fact, nor does he correct their reporting, and instead, simply accepts their stated version of events that the snipers were in other locations and government positions which has been deduced by the anonymous team based on bullet scars on surrounding objects.

At the 1:58 mark above, Gatehouse states “It’s amazing how you can work that all out”. The anonymous forensic expert then states “It was just a bloodbath really……wasn’t it?” To which Gatehouse quizzically nods and says “Yes it was”.

At the 2:26 mark, while standing in front of a barricade, Gatehouse then states “The investigator’s say that there were at least 4 sniper positions…..one at ground level, here at this barricade, and then another 3 in the tall buildings behind it over there (points at government side) they were shooting directly down this road in the direction of the hotel where we were staying (camera then pans towards the Hotel Ukraine) and the square beyond”. Gatehouse makes no mention whatsoever of the sniper that shot at his crew in the previous BBC videos taken on February 20th, 2014. The rest of the video features interviews with members of the groups who took over the city and a short BBC expose’ on deposed Ukrainian President Victor Yankovich’s estate.

The following BBC video was released a full year later on February 12, 2015 and finally features Gabriel Gatehouse revealing there were snipers shooting from other buildings than the ones the anonymous British forensic team cited. The BBC video makes no direct mention of these snipers intentionally shooting protesters, nor does it accurately portray that 10 Ukrainian Berkut police officers were killed by snipers, instead, it inaccurately states that only 3 police officers were killed in the footnotes to the video and it creates an even more confusing version of events. This video does features Berkut police radio communications pointing out clearly that a sniper was in the Hotel Ukraine and even gives a precise location description stating at the 2:16 mark “Second level from the top on the left side of the Hotel Ukraine”. Now be careful to pay close attention to what Gabriel Gatehouse states in the video below at the 4:24 mark after interviewing Andriy Parubiy (Right Sector Commandant). He states ” the location matters, the Hotel Ukraine was that morning largely under the control of government forces, but the conservatory building several hundred meters away was firmly in the hands of protesters.” Later in the BBC video, a new narrative is introduced about a sniper in the conservatory building. The statement that the Hotel Ukraine was under government control is obviously inaccurate due to the fact that Gabriel Gatehouse had already previously identified a green helmeted protester in the window that he pointed out in this video and previous videos. He also had stated previously that the Hotel Ukraine was occupied by protestors as a makeshift medical facility. Yet, strangely, in this fourth video he refers to it as a building under the control of government forces. Then he interviews Andriy Parubiy again on the possibilities of snipers in the Hotel Ukraine and takes his words at face value that his Maidan Right Sector neo-nazi foot-soldiers did not locate a sniper in the Hotel Ukraine (once again, this provides more proof that the hotel was not under government control as Gatehouse previously stated).

Gatehouse redeems himself somewhat at the 11:40 mark when he states ” I’ve spoken to a senior investigator at the general prosecutors office here, he’s convinced that whoever was firing from the Hotel Ukraine was targeting both sides. He’s gathering evidence that he says will prove that the massacre on Maidan on the 20th of February was the culmination of a carefully worked out plot….the aim of which was to cause maximum chaos…..but he says that his investigation is constantly being blocked by the courts.” (Note that nothing of substance has ever come of this Kiev led investigation, instead a few Berkut officers have been scapegoated for the killings).

Gatehouse’s reporting then reverts to narratives based on Russia blaming put forth by the same Andriy Parubiy, CIA blaming put forth by anonymously cited Russians and finally wrapping up with the statement that Maidan was all about good people coming together, yet, unfortunately people were manipulated and no one knows by whom……..thus, resulting in the waters being thoroughly muddied enough to conceal everything, even though the BBC itself has previously reported on the dangers of Maidens Right Sector neo-nazis.

Judging from all the above, if the BBC’s goal was to confuse the hell out of the general public with their ‘reporting’, then they have performed a remarkable job. The waters are completely muddied, there’s been plenty of time for all evidence to be destroyed (even the tree’s were removed) and a complete cloud of confusion now hovers over the sniper murders that took place at Maidan on February 20th, 2014. A closer look at the actions of participating BBC interviewee Andriy Parubiy would certainly be a good place to start when it comes to accessing the truth about the snipers that killed the so called ‘heavenly 100’ at Maidan.

On a more professional and decent note, there have been some remarkable researchers cacheing information and investigating what really happened in Kiev on February 20th, 2014 and I will link to them here so that other researchers may continue to look more deeply into this terrible tragedy that has now led to the New Cold War between the United States and Russia.

Linked below is the most shocking video showing the sniper killings up close (Graphic Warning). This particular group of victims appear to have all been shot from behind by the snipers in the Hotel Ukraine, the evidence proving such (trees with bullets lodged in them showing azimuth of fire) were removed not long after the massacre. The fact that these victims were all sent forth from the Hotel Ukraine with no firearms of their own is also cause for suspicion on the actions of Andriy Paruiby and his Right Sector soldiers who were occupying the Hotel Ukraine.

Today artillery was fired on the residential neighborhood of Ockobersky in the Kyivs’kyi district of Donetsk. I went to the site and investigated the direction of fire. My conclusion using all the facts available was that the shells had to have been fired from Ukraine Government controlled territory. At least 4 Apt. building were hit.

The OSCE’s Alexander Hug continues to cover up for the Kiev regimes slaughter of civilians in Donbass. All victims are in Donbass. The OSCE clearly are aware of the direction of fire from which the shells came that killed those civilians. They know the Azimuth (trajectory and distance of rounds) as reported in Patrick Lancaster’s videos above, however, they always defer reporters to their online reports which strangely neglect to ever conclude that the Ukrainian army is the entity that fired on the civilian homes where people were killed. This has been going on for the past 2 years and 7 months. The OSCE is complicit in the coverup of the warcrimes.

Berlin authorities suspect that Poroshenko bears responsibility for the deteriorating situation in the east of Ukraine, German Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper wrote. According to the newspaper, the Ukrainian government is trying to aggravate the situation in the country so that US President Donald Trump would abandon his plans on lifting sanctions against Moscow.

Bogolyubov and Kolomoisky fostered strong reputations as corporate raiders in the mid-2000s, becoming notorious for a series of hostile takeovers. Hostile takeovers Ukrainian style, that is, which often included the active involvement of Privat’s quasi-military teams. These schemes included, among others, a literal raid on the Kremenchuk steel plant in 2006, in which hundreds of hired rowdies armed with baseball bats, iron bars, gas and rubber bullet pistols and chainsaws forcibly took over the plant. More recently, Aerosvit Airlines, which according to the media was controlled by Mr. Kolomoisky, declared bankruptcy in 2012, stranding thousands of Ukrainians in Ukraine and abroad. The Financial Times, when reporting on Kolomoisky’s recent conflict with UK company JKX Oil & Gas, stated in no uncertain terms, that “in Ukraine they [Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov] are called ‘The Raiders’”. Privat Group has been involved in several court cases and arbitration proceedings in the US, UK, and Sweden. In 2009, a US court made clear its distrust of Privat representatives: “the Court has become increasingly skeptical of these gentleman [at Privat] and the credibility of their statements.”

On Saturday, while arriving on Schiphol, we, Michel Spekkers and Stefan Beck were held by Dutch police and interrogated. During the interrogation, not only material of the MH17 was taken from us, also our laptops, telephones, SD-cards and camera’s. We lost all material shot in Donbass, including material recorded with anonymous sources. In this article we present an overview what happened, both before and after that day.

AMSTERDAM: Dutch police have taken items from a journalist here, including possible human remains, which he found at the crash site of flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine, prosecutors said Sunday. Freelancer Michel Spekkers was met by police as he returned to Schiphol airport late Saturday after visiting the region and writing an article about his discovery at the site.

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 passenger jet was shot down over eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur killing all 298 on board, most of them Dutch citizens. A Dutch-led criminal investigation concluded in September that a BUK missile, transported from Russia, slammed into the plane after being fired from a field in a part of war-torn Ukraine then controlled by pro-Russian rebels. But it stopped short of saying who pulled the trigger.

Prosecutors said in a statement Sunday that Spekkers had “refused to hand over photographic and film material from the crash site” when he arrived at the airport near Amsterdam. The material including “various bags with metal parts and an object which may be human remains” would now “be examined as soon as possible.” Spekkers said in a Tweet late Saturday he had arranged to “voluntarily” hand over the items, but in the end there was “a total seizure” of his possessions including his camera, telephone and laptop.

He wrote in the daily Noordhollands Dagblat he decided to visit the crash site during a trip to Donetsk for a documentary about daily life there, after being told that debris was still strewn around the area. He described seeing things lying in the snow – including a piece of bone – saying he had videoed everything, labelled some of it and placed it into sealed ziplock bags.

Zbigniew Brzezinski’s book The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives is essential reading for anyone wishing to understand current and future U.S., EU and NATO policy. Over ten years ago the former National Security Advisor gave a graphic description of the imperatives of imperial geopolitics. He argued that the U.S.A.’s position of supremacy should be preserved under all circumstances. To this end NATO, acting as a “bridgehead” of the U.S.A., should expand into Eurasia and take control of geostrategically important regions so as to prevent Russia’s resurgence as a powerful political force.

Brzezinski had in mind two countries or regions in particular: “Ukraine, a new and important space on the Eurasian chessboard is a geopolitical pivot because its very existence as an independent country helps to transform Russia. Without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be a Eurasian empire. Russia without Ukraine can still strive for imperial status, but it would then become a predominantly Asian imperial state, more likely to be drawn into debilitating conflicts with aroused Central Asians, who would then be supported by their fellow Islamic states to the south.” “However, if Moscow regains control over Ukraine, with its 52 million people and major resources as well as access to the Black Sea, Russia automatically again regains the wherewithal to become a powerful imperial state, spanning Europe and Asia.”1 Brzezinski argued further that there was an imperative need to gain control of the southern Caucasus, i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, on Russia’s southern flank. The past master of U.S. geopolitics set out the aim and purpose of NATO policy with impressive clarity: “The United States and the NATO countries – while sparing Russia’s self-esteem to the extent possible, but nevertheless firmly and consistently – are destroying the geopolitical foundations which could, at least in theory, allow Russia to hope to acquire the status as the number two power in world politics that belonged to the Soviet Union.

In the years that followed, these words were systematically put into political practice with NATO taking its eastward expansion right up to Moscow’s borders. Furthermore, active Western support for the “colourful revolutions” in Georgia (2003) and Ukraine (2004) led to the sitting pro-Russian or neutral governments and presidents being ousted by pro-Western candidates.3 Russia regarded NATO’s policy as crossing the “red line”. As the war between Russia and Georgia in the summer of 2008 showed, Russia is no longer prepared to stand idly by in the face of further attempts at expansion. Nevertheless, the Western military alliance is doggedly pursuing its escalation policy, in which Ukraine and Georgia are now being offered NATO membership as a means of safeguarding the “successes” that have been scored. U.S. President Barack Obama is also in favour of these two countries joining NATO.4 The announcement that Michael McFaul, a hardliner on policy towards Moscow, is to be appointed senior director for Russian affairs at the National Security Council gives little cause for hope that Washington under its new president will abandon its aggressive, anti-Russian policy. This amounts to tacit acceptance that the New Cold War between NATO and Russia, invoked so frequently of late, will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Ukraine: “On someone else’s arse”

Even now, the approach to Ukraine is evidently still determined by Brzezinski’s recipes from the devil’s workshop of geopolitics. NATO accession and Europe’s energy supply are issues that are closely intertwined. Writing in Handelsblatt, Peter Zeihan from Strategic Forecast, the think-tank often referred to as the “shadow CIA”, described the complex geopolitical situation as follows: “On the one hand, the ‘orange’ revolution of 2004 led to the installation of a Ukrainian government hostile to Russia’s objectives. President Viktor Yushchenko would like to integrate his country into the European Union and NATO. For Russia that would be the kiss of death. Most of the infrastructure linking Russia with Europe – from pipelines to railway lines and high-voltage cables – is located in Ukraine. Industry and agriculture in both countries are closely interlinked. There are more Russians living in eastern Ukraine than anywhere else in the world outside Russia. The Russian Black Sea fleet is stationed in the Ukrainian port of Sevastopol because there are no reasonable alternatives. Ukraine stretches so far into southern Russia that a hostile power in the country could pose a threat to Moscow. Moreover, the country stretches so far eastwards that an antagonistic government there could even threaten Russia’s connections with the Caucasus. In a nutshell, if Ukraine slips out of Russia’s sphere of influence Russia will be forced completely onto the defensive in strategic terms. Vice versa, if Russia regains control in Kiev, the country could set itself up as a regional – and perhaps even a global – power.”5 It was to obviate such a scenario that Washington engaged in a further round of frenzied activity shortly before the end of U.S. President George W. Bush’s period in office. This activity was aimed at advancing Ukraine’s future membership of NATO. Martin Luther’s words to the effect that “Riding through a fire is easy on someone else’s arse” might perhaps have flashed through the mind of the then U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, as she walked up with Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Volodymyr Ohryzko, to sign the United States-Ukraine Charta on Strategic Partnership on 19 December 2008. Rice said: “The United States supports Ukraine’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures. And in that regard, I want to assure you that the declaration at Bucharest which foresees that Ukraine will be a member of NATO when it can meet those standards is very much at the center of our policy.” The Ukrainian Foreign Minister set great store by a strengthening of the presence of the United States in Ukraine, in particular through a diplomatic mission on the Crimean peninsula in the Black Sea.6

In addition to a programme of enhanced security cooperation intended to strengthen Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO membership, agreement was reached on close collaboration on energy issues. It was resolved inter alia that “In recognition of the importance of a well functioning energy sector, the parties intend to work closely together on rehabilitating and modernizing the capacity of Ukraine’s gas transit infrastructure.”7 This Charter on Strategic Partnership was signed against the backdrop of the gas dispute between Ukraine and Russia. Given Ukraine’s failure to pay its debts and the lack of any new agreement on deliveries of gas to Ukraine, supplies of Russian gas to Ukraine were stopped as of 1 January 2009. Within a few days the dispute began to have an effect on energy supplies throughout Europe. On 6 January 2009, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia reported that deliveries through the Ukrainian transit pipelines had come to a halt. Supplies to Austria fell by 90%. There are a number of indications that Ukraine’s actions can only be explained by reference to the support it received from the U.S.A. That was the Russian view too: “The Russian gas company Gazprom has pinned responsibility for the gas dispute with Ukraine on the U.S.A. Gazprom declared on Tuesday that Ukraine’s actions are being directed by the U.S. government. Despite the deployment of EU observers the Ukraine is again removing gas from the transit pipelines. Russia is therefore unable to deliver supplies to the EU countries. Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Russian energy giant, has accused the U.S.A. of fuelling the conflict.”8

In the case of both Georgia and Ukraine there is a close link between the gas dispute and support for their admission to NATO. In April 2008 the Bertelsmann Foundation concluded that Ukraine and Georgia were already closely integrated into “NATO’s working processes”. “Ever since it was founded in 1994, both countries have been part of the Partnership for Peace programme of the North Atlantic Alliance which is intended to promote individual cooperation between NATO and non-NATO countries. Cooperation has subsequently been extended. […] In their bilateral cooperation agreements with NATO both countries see far-reaching domestic reforms as a means of moving closer to the defence alliance. Such reforms principally concern the consolidation of internal democratic structures, but priority is also given to the fight against global terrorism and support for the operations and missions of the North Atlantic Alliance. The latter was one reason why U.S. President George W. Bush emphasized his efforts to have Ukraine and Georgia included in the Membership Action Plan. The progress made in integration into NATO’s defence structures puts into perspective the question that arose at the Bucharest summit about the steps Ukraine and Georgia will take after the provisional ‘no’ to their admission to the Membership Action Plan. Their path will inevitably take them into NATO.“9

Germany is playing a double role here. On the one hand it has joined France in rejecting an accelerated accession procedure for Ukraine, which the U.S.A. favoured; on the other hand it is playing a risky game by not placing any obstacles in the path of fundamental approval of Ukraine’s accession to NATO. The German Foreign Office has itself provided an apt description of this double role: “At the NATO summit in Bucharest in April 2008 Ukraine was in principle given the prospect of membership (‘We agreed today that these countries (i.e. Ukraine and Georgia) will become members of NATO’). Ukraine was not granted a Membership Action Plan (MAP); instead, a comprehensive review process was initiated.”10 This granting of prospective membership to Ukraine for the first time, combined with Georgia’s aggression shortly afterwards against Abkhazia and South Ossetia, proved the last straw for Moscow.

Georgia: a geopolitical prize

A look at the map quickly makes it clear why the Southern Caucasus is so important. Georgia provides the only opportunity of supplying Europe with gas and oil from the resource-rich countries of Central Asia and of transporting goods and products to Europe by land from China and Kazakhstan. The Nabucco pipeline project is intended to help reduce Europe’s “dependence” on Russian gas imports, which currently account for 40% of its supplies and are expected to climb to even higher levels. According to the European press service EurActiv, “The US has long been pushing for the construction of oil and natural gas pipelines from the Caspian basin that would bypass Russia, especially via Georgia.”11 The project is a top priority for the European Union, too. During his period as representative of the EU Council President in 2006 the Austrian Minister of Economics Martin Bartenstein said: “[The] Nabucco pipeline is Europe’s most important energy project.”12

For both the EU Member States and the NATO countries Georgia provides the geographical terrain that is essential to cutting Russia off from the purchasers of its energy exports. Russia’s countermeasures include three pipeline projects – Nord Stream (Baltic Sea pipeline), South Stream (Russian-Italian gas pipeline through the Black Sea via Varna in Bulgaria) and Blue Stream (from Russia through the Black Sea into Turkey) – as well as the building of direct energy lines to western and southern Europe to ensure the unobstructed export of energy free from any checks or controls by former Eastern Bloc states very favourably disposed to the U.S.A. This was why the U.S.A., in particular, played the Georgian card in the hope of containing Russia’s political influence in Europe and preventing its rise to the status of an industrial power.

Western support for the war

Germany continues to play a significant part in the arming of Georgia. The Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) mostly train Georgian officers as part of the general staff training course which includes participants from other countries. Over the past few years the Bundeswehr has been host to a steady stream of high-ranking military delegations from Georgia. In addition, G 36 rifles manufactured by Heckler & Koch have been delivered to Georgia. The bulk of the training has been carried out by the U.S.A., however. The U.S. Army has trained Georgian soldiers “to bring the armed forces of Georgia, a loyal ally of Washington, up to NATO standards as an outpost in the Caucasus.”13 In 2006 alone, says the German news magazine Der Spiegel, the U.S.A. supported Georgia to the tune of 80 million U.S. dollars, 13 million of which went on the payment of “military supplies and services” as well as the training of soldiers. In addition the U.S.A. has helped Georgia by regularly modernising its fleet and delivering helicopters free of charge.14 The considerable extent of U.S. military assistance, which has “enabled the Pentagon to overhaul Georgia’s forces from bottom to top”, is described by the New York Times as follows: “At senior levels, the United States helped rewrite Georgian military doctrine and train its commanders and staff officers. At the squad level, American marines and soldiers trained Georgian soldiers in the fundamentals of battle.”15
All told, therefore, the Georgian armed forces have over five infantry brigades each numbering 2,000 men. In addition there are the reservist units whose level of training is far inferior. The Georgian government talks officially of 37,000 soldiers and 100,000 reservists. Since Mikhail Saakashvili took office, Georgia’s military spending has increased significantly: “In 2003 it amounted to 52 million lari (24 million U.S. dollars), whereas in 2006 that figure had tripled to 139 million lari (78 million U.S. dollars). Real expenditure is much higher, however. Anyone liable to be called up for military service, for example, can buy themselves out of the army – four-fifths of the money goes straight to the ministry.”16

There is also brisk cooperation between Georgia and NATO. In July 2008, a joint manoeuvre was held as part of the Partnership for Peace Programme in which a total of 1,630 military personnel, including 1,000 Americans and 600 Georgians, took part.17 In addition, the Georgian army has been – and still is – prominently involved in the war in Iraq, which is in contravention of international law, as well as in Afghanistan and Kosovo. In 2008, Georgia had 2,000 solders in Iraq, the third-largest contingent of the “Coalition of the Willing”. However, after the Georgian army had been repulsed in South Ossetia in August 2008, the U.S. Air Force flew the Georgian units stationed in Iraq back to the home front to provide help while the fighting was still in progress. Given the massive campaign undertaken by the U.S.A. and its allies to build up the country’s military, it is barely credible that, while the U.S.A. might not actually have given the green light, it was not fully informed of the pending attack and subsequently kept silent about it.

At any rate, the Russians are certain that the attack took place with support from Washington. The Russian ambassador to NATO, Dimitri Rogozin, made a statement to the effect that Saakashvili agreed the attack with his “backers”. It is clear to whom he was referring.18 Vladimir Vasilyev, Chairman of the Duma Security Committee, summed up the Russian point of view as follows: “The longer the matter goes on, the better the world will come to understand that Georgia would never have been capable of it [the attack on South Ossetia] without the United States”.19 In an interview for the German TV station ARD the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin made his views of the U.S.A.’s behaviour perfectly clear: “One cannot help thinking that the American leadership knew of the planned action and, indeed, participated in it […] in order to organise a small-scale but successful war. And, if things went wrong, to force Russia into the role of the enemy.”20

Russia’s counter-attack

It is, indeed, hard to believe that the Georgian attack took place without any prior consultation with the U.S.A. Yet it must have been clear to the U.S. government that the Georgian army would be crushed in battle, which was precisely what happened. The question arises, therefore, as to Washington’s motives. Did it simply miscalculate in assuming that Russia would quietly accept the Georgian advance? It is hard to imagine but conceivable nonetheless. The other explanation is that the primary objective was to stir up a conflict with Russia so as to make the European Union toe an even more anti-Russian line and that Saakashvili came in handy here in the role of useful idiot, albeit at the expense of the people in the region. The matter cannot be clarified with any degree of certainty, although the latter explanation would appear more plausible.

At all events, the calculation backfired, because Russia seized the opportunity provided by the Georgian attack to improve its own position in the Caucasus. It is also very hard to imagine that Moscow was not informed of Georgia’s invasion plans. It was evidently well prepared for such an eventuality. In July, 8,000 Russian soldiers carried out an exercise simulating the repulsion of a Georgian attack. That might also explain why the Georgian troops were halted within 24 hours and the Russian troops gained the upper hand relatively quickly. Hence to describe Georgia’s war of aggression as the result of President Saakashvili stumbling into a Russian trap is not very convincing. Whether the Russians were well prepared or not, the fact of the matter is that Georgia engaged in a war of aggression.

In the course of the conflict Russia succeeded in shattering confidence in Georgia’s reliability as a transit country for future Caspian energy supplies. Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili himself said that “one of the main reasons for the Russian attack was that Georgia already has the Baku-Tblissi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC), which has been laid one metre underground from end to end. This is intended to circumvent Russia.”21 That suspicion is not as mistaken as it might seem. After all, the opening of the BTC pipeline in May 2006, over which Washington and Moscow had wrangled bitterly for almost a decade, was one of the biggest geopolitical successes in the U.S.A.’s plans to roll back Russian influence in the region. “The Georgian security adviser, Alexander Lomaia, says that the Russians dropped six bombs but failed to hit the pipeline. If that is true, it would indicate that Russia’s military action was conducted in pursuit of other, more far-reaching strategic goals than merely preventing a humanitarian crisis in South Ossetia.”22

The Nabucco project was also dealt a heavy blow. According to Ed Chow from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, “Russia has raised serious doubts in the minds of Western lenders and investors […] as to whether a pipeline through Georgia is safe from attacks or beyond the control of the Kremlin.”23 Nevertheless, EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs attempted to give an assurance that the EU was sticking to its plan to build the Nabucco pipeline through Georgia despite the Caucasus conflict: “This infrastructure is needed”, Piebalgs said.24

For the first time since the end of the (old) Cold War Russia has thus ended a Western attempt at expansion by military means. That alone is sufficient to underline the dimensions of the Russian-Georgian war. At the same time the invasion of Georgia is a clear signal to the West that in future Russia will once again have to be taken into account in international power politics. A Strategic Forecast analysis says: “Russia has demonstrated three things with its operation in South Ossetia. Firstly, its army can carry out successful operations, which foreign observers have doubted. Secondly, the Russians can defeat forces trained by U.S. military instructors. Thirdly, Russia has shown that the U.S.A. and NATO are not in a position that would enable them to intervene militarily in this conflict.”25

Astonishing one-sidedness

It is hardly surprising that the Russian response to the Georgian invasion was fiercely criticised by the U.S., which almost unreservedly took Georgia’s side. Zbigniew Brzezinski was vociferous in his response, comparing Putin’s actions with those of Hitler. He went on to say that Moscow’s behaviour “can lead to exclusion and economic and financial sanctions. If Russia continues down this road it must ultimately be isolated within the community of states.”26
The European Union adopted an equally one-sided stance: “The European Council is gravely concerned by the open conflict which has broken out in Georgia, by the resulting violence and by the disproportionate reaction of Russia.”27 These were the words used by the European heads of state and government on 1 September in commenting on the events in the Caucasus. They failed to mention, let alone criticise, the fact that Georgia’s aggression was clearly what had unleashed the war. The statement continues by severely criticising Russia alone. Thus the heads of state and government “strongly condemn Russia’s unilateral decision to recognise the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.” In stark contrast to the policy of recognizing Kosovo that was pursued by the vast majority of EU Member States, the European Council “recalls that a peaceful and lasting solution to the conflict in Georgia must be based on full respect for the principles of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity recognised by international law, the Final Act of the Helsinki Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe and United Nations Security Council resolutions.”27

There were occasional vehement demands for even more drastic action against Russia. The Chairman of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (EPP), advocated an EU position that is “tougher than that of NATO.”28 The fact that the hardliners were not able to have their way entirely has to do with the specific constellation of interests that have made this appear inopportune, particularly from a German perspective. On the one hand there is a desire to show Moscow who is in charge in Europe but, on the other, there is a wish not to spoil things completely with Russia, because business there is simply too profitable.29 Nevertheless, Germany is in almost full accord with NATO’s escalation policy.

(Energy) NATO is put into position

In November 2006 U.S. Senator Richard Lugar, a leading NATO strategist, literally went on the offensive. On the fringes of the NATO summit in Riga he criticised Moscow for its attempts to use oil as a “weapon” against the West and proposed the setting up of an “Energy NATO”. The underlying idea is that in future NATO should treat any interruption of oil and gas supplies as it would a military attack (see article by Tobias Pflüger).

In January 2008, five high-ranking NATO generals published a position paper that was specifically introduced into the debate in the form of a catalogue of requirements for the forthcoming updating of NATO’s strategic concept, the idea being that it could serve as a blueprint for the NATO summit on 3/4 April 2009: “ There will be an increase in global competition for scarce resources, and this will certainly be the case for fossil fuel, which will swell the possibility of suppliers abusing their position and their leverage.. […]Dependency on oil and gas is a vulnerability that some governments will seek to exploit – the Gazprom crisis demonstrated how easily demand can be manipulated. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is – and is likely to remain – a mechanism for keeping the price of oil artificially high, and recently Russia and the United Arab Emirates have been exploring the idea of setting up a ‘Gas OPEC’. […] For this reason, it might well be worth considering using NATO as an instrument of energy security.“30

Shortly afterwards, in June 2008, Richard Lugar, who for a time was under discussion as Barack Obama’s Secretary of State for Defense, repeated his threats against Russia at a hearing of the Senate and vigorously advocated the building of the Nabucco pipeline.31 At the same hearing the new U.S. Vice-President Joseph Biden expressly praised Lugar’s work on energy policy and emphasised the importance of the conflicts in the Caspian region: “The stakes involve hundreds of billions of dollars in oil and infrastructure, the resurgence of Russia, and the energy security of Europe.. […] Russians love chess. Our strategic response on the chess board of Central Asia must be to establish a presence on parts of the board they do not yet control. That means laying down new pipelines that add alternatives […] to the monopoly Russia has enjoyed.”32

Biden is therefore likely to have welcomed one of the last major security policy initiatives launched by the Bush administration which aimed at drawing Georgia further into the Western orbit by means of a joint declaration on partnership: “The United States and Georgia officially became “strategic partners” under a charter signed by the two governments on January 9 [2009]. […] Few details have been publicized about the charter, which was signed four months after Georgia’s disastrous war with Russia. It has been widely reported, however, that the Georgian pact resembles a strategic partnership charter signed by the United States and Ukraine in December.”33 Like the United States-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership the agreement with Georgia is likely to comprise intensified military cooperation and measures to expedite Ukraine’s membership of NATO. On 15 September 2008 NATO resolved to set up a commission to deepen relations with Georgia. This is intended “to coordinate Alliance efforts to assist Georgia in recovering from the recent conflict”.34

Cold War as a self-fulfilling prophecy

The aim of the policy pursued by the U.S.A. in Ukraine and Georgia is to wage a new Cold War against Russia. Russia is to be challenged by a policy of pinpricks involving “colourful revolutions”, energy blockades, NATO expansion and the stationing of missiles in Poland and the Czech Republic. By disrupting economic relations with Western Europe Washington aims to contain Russia’s global political influence and thwart its advance as a new industrial power. Should this scenario turn out to be a success, it would simultaneously ensure that the NATO allies in Western Europe are tied into a joint strategy of escalation and have to become even more heavily involved in projects designed to secure energy supplies.
Since this strategy has thus far proved successful and it cannot, unfortunately, be assumed that there will be a move away from a policy of U.S. confrontation under President Obama, there is a renewed threat of bloc confrontation. At the height of the Georgian war Russian President Dmitri Medvedev sent out a clear message to the West: “We are not afraid of anything, not even the prospect of a Cold War.”35 The anti-war movement will have to adjust to the realities of the New Cold War. The strategy of imperialism pursued by NATO and the EU must be opposed here and now in a calm and collected fashion.

Any lingering doubts about Obama’s status as an abject puppet of Zbigniew Brzezinski and the Rockefeller Trilateral Commission ended this morning when the withered mummy of imperialism himself appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe* to campaign for Obama, urged on by his own moronic daughter, Mika Brzezinski, an Obama groupie and sycophant.
Zbigniew, a low-level Polish aristocrat whose life has been devoted to hatred for Russia, lauded Obama for his 2002 speech opposing the Iraq war, saying that he himself was the source of Obama’s arguments back then – thus confirming Obama’s long-term status as his puppet, which probably began in 1981-1983, when Obama was a student at Columbia University, and Zbig was directing the anti-Russian institute.


The aging revanchist showed all the misogynism of his szachta origins with a scurrilous attack on Sen. Clinton as a mere housewife, a Mamie Eisenhower running against charismatic a JFK played by Zbig’s own Manchurian candidate, and as a woman whose foreign policy experience was worth as much as that of Zbig’s own travel agent.


Zbig, who was kept in the closet for many months during the Carter administration because of his hideous Dr. Strangelove persona, portrayed Obama as a peace candidate who wanted to end the Iraq war and usher in peace in the Middle East. Zbig is an infamous Cold War hawk who has managed to re-invent himself in the eyes of some dupes by opposing the Iraq adventure, mainly because it is bad for imperialism.


Zbig did not mention that the reason he wants to downplay certain aspects of US aggression in the Middle East is to free up resources for use in the much bigger and more dangerous adventures which the Trilateral Commission is now directing.
Zbig is the mastermind of the Kosovo secession under KLA terrorist auspices, a gambit against Serbia and Russia to prepare a coming Operation Barbarossa II against Moscow. With the help of his son Mark Brzezinski, another top foreign policy controller of Obama, Zbig is also behind the new Euromissiles crisis involving US ABM installations in Poland. Zbig is the enforcer for the new CIA policy of killing Pakistanis (as “terrorists”) without consulting the government of that country, a nuclear power twice as big as Iran.


Most dangerous of all, Zbig is the obvious mastermind of the massive destabilization of China now ongoing, starting with the CIA/MI-6 Tibet insurrection, which has placed the US on a collision course with China, a superpower with 1.4 billion people and thermonuclear weapons which can strike US cities, a far cry from the helpless and defenseless targets preferred by the neocons. It is an open secret that Zbig intends to attempt a color revolution or CIA people power coup in China under the cover of the Beijing Olympics later this year. He may also make the Taiwan crisis explode. The dangers of these lunatic policies are infinitely worse than anything that could ever come out of the Middle East.


Senator Jay Rockefeller and Trilateral/BIlderberger boss Joseph Nye are also actively campaigning for Obama. Nye is the theoretician of “soft power,” a new form of imperialist aggression based on economic warfare, subversion, deception, and people power coups. They want Obama to mobilize soft power to give a face lift to US imnperialism.


Brzezinski’s goal is confrontation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the main world center for resistance to US-UK global domination.


Anti-war activists are still fixated on Iran, but not Brzezinski is not – his target is China, TWENTY times bigger than Iran, with ICBMs ready to launch, followed by Russia, the world’s biggest nuclear power. Such confused activists need to focus on stopping the next war – the final global showdown with Pakistan, China, and Russia. That means rejecting Brzezinski’s puppet candidate Obama.

Real News: The Entire US Media Lied About Ukraine

In February 2014 a coup was carried out in Kiev, Ukraine utilizing violent Right Sector Neo-Nazis to overthrow the legitimate elected government of the country in order to bring it into the western sphere of influence and pull it into conflict and out of Russia’s orbit. These Neo-Nazis groups were financed by Ukrainian oligarchs and directly supported by the United States government. The entire US media establishment went along with the false narrative on Ukraine by portraying these violent groups as legitimate peaceful protesters who were seeking freedom from repression, however, nothing could be further from the truth that the media intentionally concealed from the public.

As reported by the UN, since February 2014, over 10,000 innocent people (the number is likely much higher) have been killed in the Ukrainian Civil War, the near entirety of the victims are ethnic Russian civilian men, women and children who have been bombed in their own homes by the Kiev regime forces supported by the United States and western powers. That illegal bombing continues to this very day and OSCE ‘observers’ intentionally obfuscate their reports to obscure that the Kiev forces who drove 400 miles east and are conducting this indiscriminate shelling of the civilian population.

The Russian ‘invasion’ that the US media and western representatives incessantly ‘reported’ about for two years never materialized. They simply manufactured the narrative. If Russia did want East Ukraine the war for the eastern portion would have been long since over 2 years ago. The real invading army that is killing and terrorizing civilians is the one that came eastward from Kiev. The people of Donbass simply held two referendums to claim their own ethnic Russian state after the US backed coup. This fact has also been intentionally covered up by the entire US establishment media. After those referendums, the US State Department went on record as saying that the Kiev forces have the right to attack east Ukraine in order to maintain sovereignty.

The US media has also intentionally never sent any reporters into the conflict zone to accurately report the fate of the 4 million ethnic Russian civilians living in Donbass. If they were to do so they would see that the actual Donbass rebels are primarily (85%) made up of local inhabitants. The remainder of the forces are international volunteers. The US media has also neglected to report on the 2 million ethnic Russian civilians refugees who fled TO RUSSIA. The fact that refugees sought safety with Russia is a definitive indicator of the fact that the Kiev regime forces were killing ethnic Russian families.

The near entirety of the video evidence coming out of the war zone proves the aforementioned account to be true beyond any doubt regardless of any corrupt establishment media spin. I have personally compiled over 500 hours of video evidence related to the Ukrainian Conflict that highlight the misrepresentations by western media of the truth about the war. Using social media, first person videos and eyewitness accounts while working in collaboration with video compilers all over the world, I believe I have compiled the largest cache of videos related to the Ukrainian Civil War and I present my entire work below, as well as that of some of my fellow truth seekers in other countries.

The above media material proves beyond all reasonable doubt that the US government, media and western powers are intentionally lying about what has really happened in Ukraine over the past two and a half years. The fact that the US media continue to obfuscate and lie about these world changing events during the US election cycle also highlights that they have no respect for the American people and are continuing to deceive them on a massive scale. The American people and the world as a whole deserves better than this from our government and media representatives. For all these lies, all these crimes and all these deaths, people should be in jail, not continuing this horrific madness while continuing to foment more war and more false narratives.

Its amazing and surreal to watch how things are playing out now in US politics in relation to all this insanity. Where it will all lead is anyones guess at this point. I knew when Ukraine was happening that it would be a good opportunity to highlight the US Deep States nefarious geopolitical actions on a grand scale due to the amount of video coming out of the the country and the ability to now fully use social media. I remember when Iraq was happening and there wasn’t anything like that video or social media wise, therefore many of us fighting to get the truth out had to rely on only a few sources for info. Back then it was a Republican administration fomenting the war but it caught me off guard when so many so called ‘liberal’dems were active in covering up the warcrimes of the Ukrainian Nazis and attempting to frame Russia for the coup and subsequent war that the US instigated. Thus, I now refer to them as faux liberals as real liberals would be anti-war first and foremost.

For what they have given Obama a free pass for they should be truly ashamed.
